When Bodil released Adam, they were both blushing "What was that for?" he asked. "Because I really
like you, Sky." Bodil murmured. The Commander rolled off of his friend and stood up, smiling. "So, you Really like me, dude?" The Commander asked. Bodil nodded. To his surprise, Adam picked him up and carried him to the Checkpoint Shelter.
When they reached the checkpoint, Sky gently placed Bodil onto the bed. "Uh, t-thanks, man..." Martin stammered. "Aw, no problem, dude!" he replied happily as he sat next to his Bulgarian friend. It was silent for a while, until Martin broke it. "I have something to ask you, Sky..." he asked his butter-loving friend, blushing. Adam turned toward Bodil. "Yeah?" Martin rolled is shimmering, chocolate brown eyes in embarrassment. "Can you sing?"
Sky was confused. "Yes, I can sing, Martin." Bodil sighed. "Oh. Well, uh... c-can you sing for me?" Adam was blushing. "Uh, s-sure..." he stammered. "What do you want me to sing?" Bodil thought for a moment, then responded "Can you sing 'Daylight' for me?" His friend nodded, cleared his throat, and began to sing.
"Here I am waiting. I'll have to leave soon. Why am I... holding on? We knew this day would come. We knew it all along. How did it... come so fast?" "This is our last night, but it's late And I'm trying not to sleep. Cause I know, when I wake, I will have to slip away..."
"And when the daylight comes I'll have to go; But tonight I'm gonna hold you so close.
'Cause in the daylight we'll be on our own;
But tonight I need to hold you so close..."
Bodil was entranced by Adam's voice. "How was that?" Sky asked. Martin stared at Adam and nodded. "It's wonderful!" he yipped happily. "How about you, Martin? Can you sing?" Martin sighed. "Uh... do you... want me to?" Sky smiled.
